Shalu Kala, Director - BAS
Shalu Kala is a Director at Citrin Cooperman India LLP (“CCI”). She has more than 7 years of experience in U.S. Taxation and accounting. She is actively involved in recruiting and training staff in India.
Shalu provides tax services to clients in the area of Real Estate and Investment industries – majorly business tax returns. Also, she provides assistance to the firm’s U.S. staff in tax basis reviews and compilations, including the preparation of financial reports.
Shalu coordinates and manages various BAS & Tax projects with the U.S. offices and is involved in staffing and scheduling of those projects. She works as liaison between the India Team and the US team for smooth work co-ordination and monitoring staff training requirements
Education & Licenses
Shalu is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a Bachelor's in Commerce from Gujarat University.
